The MPK102e is a portable, microprocessor-controlled high-current micro-ohmmeter, designed for precise measurement of very low contact resistances in breakers, switches, busbars, transformer windings, and engines. With selectable test currents from 1 mA to 100 A, it is a versatile instrument suitable for both laboratory and field applications.
Employing the four-terminal Kelvin method, the MPK102e eliminates errors due to test leads and contact resistances. It offers resolution down to 0.1 μΩ and resistance measurement up to 200 Ω. The unit operates either from internal rechargeable batteries (for currents up to 10 A) or mains supply (for currents up to 100 A), ensuring maximum flexibility in the field.
Built with rugged IP65-rated construction, the MPK102e is lightweight, impact-resistant, and designed for operation under severe environmental conditions.
