IM Series – Digital Impulse Analyzer

The IM Series Digital Impulse Analyzer is a high-speed, multi-channel system for evaluating lightning, switching, chopped, and oscillating impulse waveforms in high-voltage laboratories and transformer test bays. Built in compliance with IEC60060-1, IEC61083, and IEEE Std 4, it provides real-time acquisition, waveform analysis, and automatic evaluation to support type and routine testing of transformers, bushings, arresters, and other HV components.

Function

  • Measures and analyzes lightning, switching, chopped, and oscillating impulses

  • Captures and compares up to 4 waveform channels simultaneously

  • Automatically evaluates waveform parameters (front time, tail time, peak voltage, oscillations)

  • Detects and classifies impulse types

  • Stores waveforms and reports with integrated CSV and PDF export

  • Synchronizes with impulse generators for accurate triggering

  • Provides pass/fail results in compliance with IEC standards
