IM Series – Digital Impulse Analyzer
The IM Series Digital Impulse Analyzer is a high-speed, multi-channel system for evaluating lightning, switching, chopped, and oscillating impulse waveforms in high-voltage laboratories and transformer test bays. Built in compliance with IEC60060-1, IEC61083, and IEEE Std 4, it provides real-time acquisition, waveform analysis, and automatic evaluation to support type and routine testing of transformers, bushings, arresters, and other HV components.
Function
-
Measures and analyzes lightning, switching, chopped, and oscillating impulses
-
Captures and compares up to 4 waveform channels simultaneously
-
Automatically evaluates waveform parameters (front time, tail time, peak voltage, oscillations)
-
Detects and classifies impulse types
-
Stores waveforms and reports with integrated CSV and PDF export
-
Synchronizes with impulse generators for accurate triggering
-
Provides pass/fail results in compliance with IEC standards
