The ETL-40v
The ETL-40V Vehicle-Based Cable Fault Locator is a versatile system for testing and diagnosing low- and medium-voltage cables. It supports DC testing up to 40 kV, fault burning up to 20 kV / 1 A, and optional surge energy up to 2400 J. With the RIF-9 Time-Domain Reflectometer, it enables precise fault pre-location in TDR, Arc-Reflection, Impulse Current, and Voltage Coupling modes, supported by automatic test procedures.
Designed for mobility and ease of use, the ETL-40V offers a user-friendly interface, high safety standards, multi-step self-protection, and integration with auxiliary tools such as LFG-50 / LFG-200p low-frequency generators and the PT-14 tracer. It provides a reliable, flexible solution for efficient cable fault location in the field.
