OLTC.100A On-Load Tap-Changer Tester

The OLTC.100A is a compact and reliable tester designed for the measurement of on-load tap-changers (OLTCs) — the only moving part connected to the transformer circuit. Regular testing of OLTCs is critical, as outlined in the Procedures for Handling and Preventive Tests for Electrical Equipment, which require verification of switching sequence and operation time.

The OLTC.100A is specifically built to measure:

  • Transient resistance value

  • Three-phase synchronization

It provides high-accuracy data for transformer maintenance, fault detection, and preventive diagnostics.
