MPK105x High-Current Micro-ohmmeter

The MPK105x is a portable, microprocessor-controlled high-current micro-ohmmeter designed for accurate measurement of very low contact resistances in high-voltage circuit breakers, switches, busbars, and similar applications. With test currents up to 100 A, it combines rugged construction, optimized filters, and advanced protections for reliable operation in substations, laboratories, and the field.

Using the four-terminal Kelvin (U/I) method, the MPK105x eliminates errors due to test leads and contact resistances. Resistance readings are displayed digitally with up to 4½ digits resolution, with best resolution of 0.1 μΩ. The instrument also features built-in memory for storing results, a USB interface for data transfer, and a built-in printer for immediate reporting.

Lightweight and impact-resistant, the MPK105x is housed in an IP65-rated cabinet, designed to withstand severe weather and demanding test environments.
