MPK-256 Digital Very Low Resistance Ohmmeter

The MPK-256 is a portable, microprocessor-controlled very low resistance ohmmeter designed for precise measurement of circuit breaker contacts, switches, transformer and motor windings, busbar joints, and cable samples. With selectable test currents from 1 mA up to 10 A, it provides accurate measurements with resolution down to 1 μΩ and resistance ranges up to 2000 Ω.

Employing the four-terminal Kelvin method, the MPK-256 eliminates errors caused by test leads and contact resistances. A digital alphanumeric display shows direct readings with up to 4½ digits resolution. For enhanced flexibility, it features a USB interface for data transfer and Modbus® protocol with Android™ app compatibility for remote operation.

Rugged, lightweight, and IP65-rated, the MPK-256 is suitable for field use under severe conditions as well as laboratory testing.
