GL.600U SF6 Gas Detection Thermal Imager

The GL.600U is a professional SF₆ gas detection thermal imager designed for rapid, non-contact detection of gas leaks at distances of several meters to tens of meters.
It features dual-band gas visualization, a high-resolution rotatable LCD display, multiple imaging modes, and a lightweight, ergonomic design optimized for long-duration inspection.
Ideal for power substations, petrochemical plants, natural gas stations, chemical facilities, and environmental detection.

How It Works / Overview

The GL.600U visualizes gas leaks using spectral absorption at two infrared wavelength bands:

  • 7–8.5 μm → CH₄ detection

  • 9.5–12 μm → SF₆ detection

This allows the camera to detect:

  • Tiny SF₆ emissions

  • Unorganized volatile organic gas release

  • Natural gas leaks in production, transportation, and storage

It scans large areas quickly and pinpoints leaks in real time without interrupting operations — a major advantage for electrical utility inspection & gas industry safety.
