GF.706S SF6 Gas Detection Thermal Imager
The GF.706S is a high-sensitivity cooled infrared gas detection camera designed for SF₆ leak monitoring in substations and high-voltage electrical equipment.
It enables remote, non-contact detection of sulfur hexafluoride gas leaks under normal equipment operating conditions, significantly improving inspection safety and efficiency.
With a cooled QWIP detector, 11 color palettes, HD OLED viewfinder, and advanced temperature measurement tools, the GF.706S delivers elite-level gas imaging performance for industrial power environments.

How It Works / Overview
The GF.706S uses cooled QWIP longwave infrared detection to identify gas spectral absorption of SF₆ and other industrial gases.
By imaging the gas as it absorbs IR energy, leaks appear as visible plumes even when invisible to the human eye.
Its cooled detector (<0.025°C sensitivity) captures extremely small temperature and spectral variations, enabling:
