CFL SG 0810 Surge Generator

The CFL SG 0810 is a compact portable surge generator designed for precise fault location in low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) power and communication cables. Delivering up to 8 kV output voltage and 1000 J surge energy, it provides the impulse source for pinpointing faults using the CFL PP3 system and distance prelocation with CFL PL-Series prelocators.

Key Features

  • Output voltage range: 0 – 8 kV, surge energy 1000 J

  • Supports TDR / SIM / ARM / MIM fault prelocation with PL-Series instruments

  • Compatible with PP3 acoustic pinpointing system

  • DC Hi-Pot and Burn-Down modes for insulation testing and fault conditioning

  • Built-in safety interlocks, earthing detection and auto-discharge

  • Digital control panel with indicator lamps and fault reset functions

  • Compact, wheeled case for easy field mobility
