CFL PP3+ Portable Cable Fault Pinpointing System

The CFL PP3 is a lightweight, high-sensitivity acoustic and electromagnetic pinpointing system used to locate faults in underground power and communication cables after prelocation. By detecting and synchronizing the sound and magnetic impulse signals generated by a surge generator, the PP3 pinpoints the exact fault position with centimeter accuracy. It is ideal for field crews and utilities requiring fast, accurate and non-destructive fault identification.

Key Features

  • Combines acoustic and electromagnetic detection for precise fault location

  • Compatible with CFL SG-Series surge generators (8 – 32 kV range)
