CFL PL2+ Cable Fault Prelocator

The CFL PL2+ is a portable prelocator for rapid and accurate detection of faults in underground power, telecom and control cables. Using advanced TDR and SIM/ARC methods, it measures fault distance precisely even for high-resistance faults. Designed for field use, it combines speed, accuracy and ease of operation to minimize outage time and restore supply quickly.

Key Features

  • Compact & rugged IP67 case

  • TDR, SIM, MIM & ARC modes for all fault types

  • Measurement range up to 50 km with 0.04 % accuracy

  • 100 MHz sampling for high resolution traces

  • Multiple waveform comparison & zoom view

  • Built-in cable library & 100 waveform memory

  • Mains or rechargeable battery operation

  • RS-232 interface for PC connection & data storage
